BEHIND THE
RELIGIOUS INVENTION PACKAGE

(After
“Islamic
Cell Phone and the Next Islamic Inventions” written by Mr. Abul Kasem)
INTRODUCTION : How does one encounter enemy ? One either
surrenders saying “I was wrong, now I surrender to you”, or one does not
say anything but silently takes its shelter. Both the gesture indicate, it has
accepted defeat. Needless to mention such defeat means its peril.
Religions all over the world are known well for their constant and
lifelong enmity with Science. Where Science stands on logic, observation,
experiment and deduction, Religion stands on “Faith” and only faith.
Naturally the two cannot co-exist. In this world Science has little place in
religious countries. In the same way religious cannot survive in countries
rich in Science. In such a context, if a religion for one reason or the other
endeavors to attach its names with the creation of Science it indicates, the
religion has agreed to the superiority of Science. Religious
Cell Phone as mentioned by Mr. Abul Kasem indicates the religion’s
inability to exist without the help of science. This is commendable. When the
followers of such a religion would discover, their religion cannot do without
Science they themselves would be attracted to Science.
When Mr. Abul Kasem wrote an article titled “ISLAMIC
CELL PHONE AND THE NEXT ISLAMIC INVENTIONS” he mentioned of some peculiar inventions,
and people cannot but laugh to go through those. Laughing is good for health.
But Mr. Abul Kasem does not know how much effort, how much money, how much
intelligence the organizers had to invest behind such projects. After all
inventions are the jobs of the infidels. In religion God is the only inventor,
such that there can be no invention by human being.
Naturally, when a religious enterprise needs to use scientific
inventions they need to take the help of the infidels. For obvious reasons
they have to things in utmost confidence. That makes such projects more costly
and complicated. And for reasons known to all, the complexities cannot be made
public. Mr. Abul Kasem is an intelligent men. From only one religious
invention he could imagine over fifty such inventions. In case he tries he can
probably imagine the complexities also behind such projects. If he can imagine
the right thing he would probably see the tears also behind the invention
package. Here we shall mention two imaginary cases only.
THE RELIGIOUS CELL PHONE PROJECT : Religions fought against Science for a
pretty long time. But when it realized, it cannot defeat science but science
can defeat it some religions changed strategy and decided to take shelter in
it. The birth of religious cell phone lies in this fact. Now one can see a
successful religious cell phone in the hands of the followers. People become
happy to see the satisfied faces of the users. But they do not know how much
sweat, tears, energy and money were spent behind this project. This is the
untold story behind. After the project was finalized and the oil rich
Sheikh’s agreed to supply money, the believers had to look for the infidels,
because the rush reality is, they are the real expert of the subject. They
were given the religious sayings to be recorded in the cell phone. When they
were about to manufacture the SIM card someone raised the most important
question. He said, in religion prayer was the most important thing. Hence
there must not be any communication during the prayer time. One raised the
question : “What about important messages coming at this time ?” The reply
from the horse’s mouth was : “For a religious person nothing can be more
important than prayer”. So, an instruction was sent to the SIM
manufacturing company saying : THERE MUST NOT BE ANY COMMUNICATION
DURING THE TIME OF PRAYERS. The instruction was associated with
prayer times in relation to sunset and their durations. Within two days there
came a query, “Previously you instructed, the cell phone would be applicable
throughout the globe and not in any particular country. Do you still stick to
it ?” The immediate reply that was sent was “Of course we do”. They were
confident, universal religion believes in the universe and not in any
particular area or country. The SIM cards were secretly manufactured in
an infidel country. After three months the box-full of cards reached the
destination. Enthusiastic users made queue in the evening before the specified
date. On the auspicious day the workers worked their best and all the SIM’s
were sold before The distributor thought of keeping their
business closed on the following day. But they could not. The users who
appeared came with complains and soon they formed a long queue. They reported,
all the religious topics arranged in cell phone were working well. But it did
not send or receive any call. DIALOGUE : It was a serious complain. The infidel manufacturer was immediately contacted. The dialogue that followed was the following : RELIGIOUS
SCIENTIST : What SIM cards have you supplied ? Why
does not it send or receive calls? INFIDFEL
EXPERT : Look, we have tested and those are o.k..
Those however, are programmed not to receive or send any call during prayer
time. Do you remember you
instructed like that ? RELIGIOUS
SCIENTIST :
Yes. But why does not it work even after prayer time ? INFIDFEL
EXPERT : You are
wrong. It definitely works when there is no prayer. RELIGIOUS
SCIENTIST : Look man, now it is ten in the morning.
And I tell you this is not our prayer time. But still the damn thing it does
not work. INFIDFEL
EXPERT : Who told you this is not prayer time ? This
is the right time of prayer in RELIGIOUS
SCIENTIST : So what ? INFIDFEL
EXPERT : Did not tell us to program it for global use ? Look, as
per papers given to us your prayer times are fixed in times of Sun’s
appearances in the sky. Various countries have their varying standard times.
We have programmed the SIM card in relation with the standard times of all
countries of the world. Now you check the prayer times of these countries and
you would know the fact. RELIGIOUS
SCIENTIST : Oh my God. Look man, you always say
complex and difficult things. Those are things I do not understand. INFIDFEL
EXPERT : Is that the reason why you have finally
surrendered to us ? RELIGIOUS
SCIENTIST : Yes. But for God’s sake, sorry, I
forgot you people do not believe in God. For Science’s sake please do not
tell it to others. Now please explain the matter in easy, simple words. INFIDFEL
EXPERT : Look man, we programmed the SIM card in
respect of prayer times in all the countries of the world. As you know, times
in different countries vary because the hemisphere-shaped earth rotates on its
axis tilted at 23.5 Deg. at a velocity of over 1000 miles per hour and
completes its rotation around the Sun in 365 days 5 hours 57 minutes and 58
seconds, resulting in variation of day length in different countries, who in
turn fix their standard times depending on the time observed on the particular
latitude passing through their capital cities, such that the Sun is found to
rise and set at various times resulting in various prayer times. RELIGIOUS
SCIENTIST : Please stop, stop. I cannot understand these
complex things. INFIDFEL
EXPERT : That is obvious. Now I understand the
reason. The account you presented to us has been prepared imagining an earth
extending from one end of a desert to another end, where the Sun rises in the
East and sets in the West. How can that simple religious account satisfy our
complex scientific world ? CONCLUSION : “WITH MUCH TEARS, PAINS AND PETRODOLLARS ANOTHER SET OF SIM CARDS WERE MANUFACTURED. THIS TIME, BECAUSE OF OBVIOUS REASONS, THE RELIGIOUS SCIENTIST ALLOWED FULL FREEDOM TO THE INFIDEL EXPERT”. NEEDLESS TO MENTION, THE PROJECT WAS A GRAND SUCCESS.
