Mukto-Mona(MM) has emerged as a leading forum in exposing violation of human rights, faith-based religious intolerance, hindrance to freethinking, imperialism and oppression in all aspect of life. MM is meant to be a resource for freethinkers, secularists, rationalists, humanists, open minded religious people, and anybody who is concerned with current events that affect civil liberties, human rights and freedom of conscience. We want to uphold the dignity of humanity and encourage the avid pursuit of progressive philosophy and the scientific enterprise. This is probably the first Bengali effort of such kind. Dedication, passion and of course "Mukto-Mon"(Open mind) of our members and supporters are key to our success.

But no cause can grow without funding. It is impossible to fight against theistic propaganda machinery and imperialism, which is funded by billions of dollars all over the world, empty handed. There is also significant cost involved in maintaining a commercial-grade non-advertising web site like Mukto-Mona. Just to remind you, we took initiatives in the past for fundraising in many occasions for victims of minority oppression including the recent call to help the wretched family of late journalist Manik Saha. Because of your effort and dedication, Mukto-mona now is not only a discussion forum, it has evolved as an action group. We raised our voices against many unjust acts around the globe.

We're proud to announce that MM is now approaching the next level-- publishing books in printed media through Mukto-Mona Publishing. We can not establish this publication without funding.
