Subject: Some words of admiration

Dear Mukto-mona,

As a Bangladeshi secular humanist, I always wondered where are those people of my country, who may have some similarities to my way of viewing the world and society. I'm happy, yes really happy to know that they exist.

Thanks, thanks a lot for your site and thanks a lot for a place for humanism.

I know, it's very difficult to be secular in our society. It's difficult for
everybody, whether you are born in a muslim, hindu or in other religious family. But, now I have a little more hope to know that I'm not alone. After a long time, I'm again feeling proud to be a Bangladeshi.

Yes, we have a lot to do and our way will be very difficult and also for some of us dangerous. But as long as humanity has a chance on our world, we have hope and you should know that from today there is another loyal member on your side.

Keep on doing the good job and please, please try to be beyond dirty politics and political propaganda. Don't let this happen to this site. Only then,  believe firmly that the words of this great site and its authors' will convert many to think as a human one day.

With many great wishes and a tribute to all writers

Subject: My appreciation for MM writers

Dear moderator,

I am a free-thinker and express my views through my writings. I like your group very much, and enoy the postings on different issues. If possible, please send me a roundup of all postings in one message instead of sending individual message. Sometimes I receive a lot of messages from other sources and it becomes impossible to attend to all them.

I appreciate your dedication to a worthy cause. The time and efforts you are putting behind this group are really huge. My special appreciation to writers like Dr Jaffor Ullah, Fate Molla, Abul Kasem, Syed Kamran Mirza, Prof. Ajoy Roy, Avijit Roy for their unflinching service to the cause of humanity.

Thanks.

I’m impressed by the quality of  Mukto-mona organization.

Dear Board of Editors,

I’m really impressed by the quality of people you have in this Mukto-mona organization. My main interest is to understand and learn more from our scholars. I visit your web-site regularly to read articles from our well respected writers/authors. Specially Mr. Momtaz Ahmed [Toronto,Canada] is one of them to us. His every article has in depth analysis which I use for my students. He is unique in this class. Take the example of his latest article "Lame or dead duck" which you published today. I read 100s of his articles, research papers in your web-site, various Newspapers and magazines. As a reader and well wisher of Mukto-mona, I request you to put his name in your authors list so, we can follow later on, for our research and educational purposes. I gave you a simple list of his articles which we used for our educational purposes. Hajj- space out the crowds Hamas and veteran cronies Cartoons satirizing the Prophet The Politics of Truth Pandemic an extreme panic Separate Church from State Live in dignity Betrayal of Trust Festering resentment Water: the tragedy flows Impasse of the Biharis Acute shortage of electricity Reality of the situation The Lions Rule Lame or dead duck! ... and more. God bless you and Mukto-mona.

Regards.
Dr. Rizwan Mahmud
